Story about Beetalk by SEA group, which is a social networking app. BeeTalk amassed over 10 million users regionally in four months with a massive marketing push. That said, they felt that it didn't take off and canned the project eventually.

The parent group is SEA Group which at the peak, was a $200 billion company, so no, they didn’t run out of money. With 10 million users, they felt they didn’t shake the position of apps like LINE, KAKAO, in target countries so more investments didn’t make sense. It begs the question, has Farcaster shaken position of Twitter and others? Does it make sense to keep pouring in resources and why?
