My take on the evolution of network state building strategies

The problem to build new cities or jurisdictions is the bridge between demand and infrastructure:

1) It takes years to get jurisdiction & build infrastructure
2) Without infrastructure people don’t come

There have been two strategies to overcome this gap:

1) Jurisdiction first: have patience to get it & build infrastructure (e.g. Prospera, Itana)

2) Demand first: build a highly aligned online community first (e.g. Praxis, Afropolitan)
