Direct Casts now default to 1 year retention instead of 30 days! Our infrastructure has gotten a lot more reliable, and we're defaulting to longer retention periods by default. h/t to @gt for pushing this through.

what are direct casts? are those posts? if yes, I thought posts on farcaster stay forever, didn’t know they get wiped after some time
