The first 3 that come to mind: 1) Our Hyper Bold, #9139, gifted to the DAO by Snowfro. I still remember the moment of silence when it was minted. 2) #71, a Double Digit and one of the Top10 most colorful Squiggles. 3) And, our latest acquisition, #8361, a Blacked-Out that complements really well our colorful collection.

The number of valuable or significant collections a few years from now—I already thought it was going to be small, despite hundreds of collections being launched. Now I think it might be a handful, maybe a dozen.

Two things: 1) Some collections are already historical for creating or evolving the digital art space (e.g., Punks, Autoglyphs, Squiggles). 2) When buying certain pieces, you are joining a community (e.g., Punks, Squiggles).

Take time to learn about the space, the different collections, communities, etc. And, if new to crypto, take time to learn about safety and wallet hygiene to minimize the risk of losing these pieces. Then buy what resonates with you, not only in terms of a particular piece, but also in terms of the artist and community.

Not recently, but one of my most fun memories was just after our capital raise. Early Dec 2021, we raised $8M from some of the top Angels and VCs (Standard Crypto, True Ventures, The LAO, etc). And the first thing we did when we received the money was a $1M floor sweep. Of course investors knew about our intentions!

SquiggleDAO launched on March 2021. It started as an experiment to support Squiggles and form a community around them. That same month people starting donating Squiggles and we got 231 pieces, Squiggles were 0.3-0.5 ETH, a different world back then! With that response, we formed working groups and rolled-up our sleeves.

Something we are starting to see is that lower prices are allowing collectors to buy the piece they love. We are seeing above-floor purchases of really cool pieces. Those owners are not flippers, as they join the DAO with that Squiggle, use it as their pfp or email signature (https://www.squiggledao.com/squigsig), etc
