on any intersection or line that you want! the subject doesnt always have to be on a corner, some photos look better completely centered, some may look best touching just one line!

you can add the grid on your iphone camera to help you play with putting the subject in different places !

just use the grid you already turned on and align the lines with straight lines (horizons, lamp poles and humans work as good reference points) — there is no other way of doing it while in the camera app!
