got into the Top 10 and a @aboutcircles prize last weekend at ETHDam! 

a special hack as our last one in EU with @kevincharm and myself set to leave this regulatory hell - praying for u @owl 

as we like to do, we put a real centuries old mechanism onchain – this time we did ROSCAs

what are ROSCAs?

ROSCAs, or Rotating Savings and Credit Associations, have existed for centuries with different names in multiple countries

for our project we picked the Bolivian name ofc lol

how it works is basically the following:
- each month every member pays a fixed amount (e.g. 10 USD)
- the total deposits of that month go to one of the members
- same spiel the next month, but with the next member
- beneficiary rotates in a round robin or raffle

we wanted to play around with @aboutcircles, and the use-case fit well so instead of USD we did it with a group's CRC

with "tokenised trust" you can enable these ROSCAs to exist across regions, which also opens a completely new design space for these
