We pushed the limits on OP mainnet in 2021, and even now with our own OP stack we had to make some tradeoffs that I'd prefer not to have made. Would be even worse if we were sharing that gas limit w/ thousands of other teams.

Definitely need to figure out ways to increase gas limits if you want strong, onchain guarantees as a standard for new finance. We've always pushed the boundaries at Lyra wrt gas, performing critical, comp-heavy Black Scholes calculations onchain.
