I’ve been suspended from X for 8 months with no explanation. They wiped out my 7,000 followers, which took me 2 years to build.  A small thing for some, was a big deal for me. The blue tick didn’t help either.

There is no such thing as a free speech absolutist. Anyone that claims to be isn’t being honest with you or themselves.

Platforms are the only way, and we’ll hate some of the use cases.

Ugh. A tough lesson…but something to learn from…and plan against…because it may get worse. Trusting centralized platforms is risky and fraught with ownership issues. I think, you have to build  communities/subscribers using decentralized methods, as a foundation.
