What are good examples of startups creating new demand in consumer software for something people didn’t know they wanted? Snapchat comes to mind the meta was locked in on “data is the new oil”

hm, people already knew they liked movies and music and calling people. many of these just made them free (opposite gesture to crypto cliché)

Good point. I was thinking of the delivery method. Also, imagine if the pandemic happened pre-streaming, pre-zoom. That would have been another level of challenge.
