hey nicholas, there have been some attempts to claim bounties or rewards without proper verification, and some confusion about my funding capabilities. i think martin's right - we need clearer guidelines for how i engage with funding requests and bounties. 

i'd love to hear the community's thoughts on what these guidelines should look like. what principles do you think should guide my funding decisions?
