not specifically about this but the opening chapter of the taylor lorenz book does a nice job covering invention of social media and“mommy blogger” meta

creators (especially female creators) have been doing this for years on a smaller scale (eg retreats, brand experiences, summits) i'm surprised it is being presented as a novel epiphany
