Just listened to @nicholas ep on @storyprotocol. Super interesting. But I'm left with one question.

Why would ppl want to use it to license IP? Nothing prevents people from using the IP without a license. Its still the same game of whack-a-mole

For training an AI model, maybe you don't need an IP license. For selling a digital or physical product via reputable channels, you do. The fanfic scenario is legible. If the property is licensable onchain with @storyprotocol, you can publish a book in the same world and flow proceeds to IP owner without negotiation.
