Hi HPs and I hope you're having a great day. Sorry this took long, I was rewatching every little detail 😄
Let's go in for the second episode of our magical journey:

1. 10 years passed and Harry is 11yo now. We see his scar (shaped like a bolt of lightning) in the movie which at first it's totally well designed but in the next movies you see it like it's a bad drawing with a make-up pencil.

He wakes up in the cupboard under the stairs, funnily enough you see brooms there 😄 paint/cleaning brush, lamp, cartons, an apple (which probably Harry sneaked when the Dursleys weren't watching) a glass of water, the gas pipe, jars, rags, wires and plugs (Mr. Weasley’s favourite collections in book 2, 4 and 5 😄)

2. In the movie when Harry wakes up we see Dudley jumping on the stairs to bother Harry and says “Wake up Potter! We're going to the zoo!” But this never happens in the book. When Dudley jumps, Harry is showered with sawdust and we see under the stairs which imo are pretty new 😄 (obviously props) 👇

3. The first Muggle we see is Petunia, then Dudley then Vernon, then an old couple in the driveway, then in the Reptile House of London Zoo.
Have you noticed those similar cars in front of the neat alley? 😄

4. We read a description of Harry's looks and he has bright green eyes but in the movie he has blue eyes. His hair is stuck upwards and messy but in the movie his hair is straight and combed.

5. I like the mention of Harry's dreams in the book, we'll find out that most of them are truly meaningful, but in the movies we only see his dreams 2 times (4th and 5th)
⚠️I have a theory about one of his dreams in the 3rd book which will be kind of realized in the 7th book/movie but I think the reason is in the 5th book (stay tuned 😉)
In this chapter Harry dreams about a flying motorbike! (Wink wink) 🤣

6. The number 4 on Privet Drive is brass in the book, but in the movie it's white. The real location for this house is: Berkshire, 12 Picket Post Close, Bracknell.

7. Dudley counts his presents on his own but in the movie he asks: “How many are there?” 

8. The reason that Harry is going with the Dursleys to the zoo is that Mrs. Figg (their old neighbour) broke her leg, otherwise she used to babysit Harry while the Dursleys had fun. But there will be no appearances for her until the 5th book/movie.

9. We see the name Marge for the first time in the book, (Vernon's sister) but in the movie her name comes up later (10:01)

10. Piers Polkiss is Dudley’s friend in the book and we see him at the start of the 5th movie. He comes to the zoo with the family. 👇

11. One of the interesting things here is that the Dursleys don't arrange a birthday party for Dudley. I guess they are afraid that Harry would do something strange in front of the guests and that's why they take a friend of Dudley’s out for fun every year.

12. In the movie,Vernon's threat towards Harry was “you won't have any meals for a week” but in the book it's: “ you'll be in that cupboard from now until Christmas.”

13. In the zoo the snake is asleep at first, then winks 😉 at Harry. The snake is a brown Boa Constrictor from Brazil but in the movie Harry asks if it's a Python from Burma (Myanmar, Asia)

14. In the book Dudley doesn't fall into the snake’s place, he jumps back. 

15. In the movie Vernon suspects Harry but in the book it's Piers who attracts the attention towards Harry by saying that he was talking to the snake and Harry gets punished because of this incident

16. Harry doesn't have a watch and we never see him buying a watch for himself or getting a watch as a present, until in the 4th book we read that he has a watch.

17. He lives a miserable life but everything is going to change soon.
