1. The Dursleys, Hagrid and Harry stayed the night in the shack and when Harry woke up the next morning he thought that last nightā€™s events were just a dream 2. In the book, an owl brings a newsletter for Hagrid and here Harry learns what Knutt is (little bronze coins) -and the wizardsā€™ bank is called Gringotts (coolest name imo šŸ˜‚) and itā€™s run by Goblins 3. Hagrid also says that the safest place in the world except Hogwarts is Gringotts and rubbing it would be very hard (we see in this book and the last book that Hagrid was almost right) 4. Hagrid never Apparates (appearing and disappearing from one place to another) anywhere, he always uses a magical way to transport himself and we find out the reason in book 4, Hagrid flew to the shack but thereā€™s no flying motorbike, no magical creature and no other objects šŸ“ My theory is that he arrived with a flying creature and the creature turned back on his command (Thestrals imo, which we learn about them in book 5) šŸ‘‡

5. They cross the water with the boat that Harry and the Dursleys reached the island on, and the boat stays at the harbour, so how did the Dursleys come back? šŸ˜… šŸ“We have to assume that Hagrid or one of the other guards that Dumbledore set for Harry -or even Prof. D himself- returned the boat with magic to the shack so that the Dursles could come back without attracting more Muggles 6. Hagrid says that thereā€™s a possibility that in the deepest level of Gringotts, Dragons guard the vaults and in the 7th book/movie we see thereā€™s only one 7. The wizardsā€™ popular newspaper is the Daily Prophet which we read this name in the book and we see the paper much later in the movie at 58mins 10 secs, but interestingly, we see its office In Diagon Alley 26mins 40secs in 8. Harry learns that Cornelius Fudge is the Minister for Magic and we see him in the second movie and Dumbledore was asked to be Minister but he has refused which is important for the 7th book šŸ‘‡

9. The list of requirements for Hogwarts students is very summarized in the movie, hereā€™s all of them: 10. According to this list the clothes should have name tags, in the movie they donā€™t (šŸ“Iā€™ll have some opinions about the clothing in the movies, later) 11. The most mentioned book in the whole series, books or movies is: A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot who weā€™ll see her in the HP7 part 1 movie 12. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander is well known because of the movies šŸ˜‰

13. The entrance to the Leaky Cauldron is hidden from the Muggle eyes and in the movie you see how the bland sign changes: šŸ‘‡ 14. In the pub Prof. Quirrell shakes Harryā€™s hand in the book, but in the movie he avoids Harryā€™s hand, (šŸ“šŸ””ā—this will be discussed at the last episode, you should note that Quirrell wears the purple turban after Harry meets him šŸ˜‰ in Leaky Cauldron and itā€™s a clue, but in the movie we get confused)

15. The pubā€™s backyard should have only a dustbin, but you see here in the movie that there is a lot of wine šŸ˜‚ and the dustbin is for the location of the key-brick (3up 2across) but Hagrid in the movie just circles a hole in the wall with his pink umbrella (pic left) 16. Finally we see Diagon Alley (personally itā€™s my favorite place even in the movie was well demonstrated) 17. The song engraved on the bankā€™s doors are important for the 7th book: (pic right) 18. In the book we read about a hundred goblins working in the bank but I counted and approximately 40 goblins were shown in the movie 19. While Hagrid looks for Harryā€™s vault key, he empties his pockets on the goblinā€™s desk šŸ“The haul of the bank is designed really well imo šŸ˜ šŸ‘‡

20. The goblin taking Harry to his vault is called Griphook, which plays a very important role in the last book/movie but in the first movie we donā€™t hear his name we only see him and his appearance is different (left HP1, right HP7/Part1) 21. The underground passage is not shown completely in the movie, but in the 7th movie, part 2, we have a good view of it, Hagrid gets sick on the cart šŸ˜„ 22. I think itā€™s odd that never in any movies we learn about the coins: 29 bronze Knuts = 1 silver Sickle 16 Sickles =1 golden Galleon šŸ‘‡

23. In the book Hagrid leaves Harry alone because he was feeling sick of the cart-ride and wanted a drink, so Harry goes into Madam Malkinsā€™ for uniforms and meets Draco and they have an unpleasant conversation before introducing themselves, but in the movie we see Draco first 42mins 33 secs in 24. Harry doesnā€™t like Draco and we read the names: Quidditch, Slytherin, Hufflepuff (no other school houses names here), then we touch a bit about purity of magical blood (which is smart imo šŸ«”) and we learn that Voldemort was in SlytherinšŸ˜ˆ 25. The shopsā€™ names which never will be revealed in movies: Flourish and Blotts (bookstore), Apothecary, Eeylops Owl Emporium šŸ‘‡

26. Hagrid and Harry both enter the Ollivanders wand shop, but in the movie Hagrid goes out to buy Harry an owl for a Bday gift 27. The second person to tell Harry that he has his motherā€™s eyes is Mr. Ollivanders (just in the book) 28. Since Ollivanders -who we will never know his first name in any book or movie- has the ability to remember every single wand that he had sold, he gives some info on Harryā€™s mom and dadā€™s wands šŸ“ Jamesā€™s is excellent for transfiguration which will be a very important fact for the 3rd book šŸ“And in the book, we learn about Voldemortā€™s wand too 29. When Hagrid was expelled, they broke his wand in half and he keeps them in his pink umbrella and it shouldnā€™t work properly, butā€¦ we have to make believe that it works or it hasn't been broken completely or Dumbledore had fixed his wand with his own which brings out a few other questions (And I'll be noting them in the finale)šŸ””šŸ“ because this is a very big flaw imo, broken wands never work right (book 2 and 7)

30. Harry tries a lot of wands and at last the fitting one is the one that has a kin šŸ˜ˆšŸ˜ 31. The conversations about wand wood and their core and their subtle abilities is never mentioned in any movie except the last one and imo is very little, the extraordinary connection between the wizard and the wand is too important to miss 32. The conversation about voldemort is after all the shopping in the pub (but in the book it happens in the shack -previous episode) šŸ“ Potters' house is shown in the 1st movie (left) and the last (right) and they are different 33. Hagrid helps Harry with his new things to get on a train and back to the Dursleys. Because itā€™s still July 31st and the school begins at Sep. 1st, so Harry goes back to his auntā€™s house and stays there for a month šŸ””BUTšŸ”” in the movie, immediately after shopping we see Hagrid and Harry in the Kingā€™s Cross station and Hagrid leaves Harry which is bizarre imošŸ¤£

34. A trivia for one shop in London appearing in the first movie; Kent the GreengroceršŸ‘‡ ā—This episode took a lot of time and Iā€™m still afraid of missing something despite rereading this a lot!
