This week’s spotlight is on Honeysmack, the Melbourne-based acid techno specialist known for his high-energy, hardware-driven live sets. With a career spanning over two decades, he blends Eurorack modular, drum machines, and classic synths to create fully improvised, dancefloor-shaking jams.

His sound is pure acid techno—squelching TB-303 basslines, punchy analog drums, and evolving modular textures—delivered with the raw spontaneity of live performance. Beyond music, he’s a passionate educator, sharing his deep knowledge of synthesis and improvisation.
