One of the most shocking incidents in the crypto community just occurred 9 hours ago: 3,520 BTC, equivalent to $330.7 million USD, was withdrawn from a wallet believed to belong to a victim of a major asset theft.

Immediately after the BTC was transferred, the hacker executed a sophisticated laundering process:
	•	The BTC was dispersed across more than six instant exchanges, a common tactic used to obscure transaction trails.
	•	The entire amount was then converted into XMR (Monero) — a privacy-focused coin known for being extremely difficult to trace.

This unusual activity caused a significant price spike in XMR, surging by up to 50% in a short period.

This serves as a serious warning for the crypto community, especially as large-scale hacks, phishing attacks, and asset thefts are becoming more frequent and increasingly sophisticated.
