The wind howled like a banshee, and the rain came down like a waterfall. The thunder roared, and the lightning lit up the sky. Folks around these parts ain't seen a storm like this in years. Trees were swayin' back and forth, and the hail was bouncin' off the ground. Everyone was battenin' down the hatches, and hopin' the storm would pass soon. Even the bravest of us were scared. We just prayed the Lord would protect us and keep us safe.
