To Day is a wild flower belonging to the peach family, the Mong people in Mu Cang Chai, Yen Bai, Vietnam often call it "Pang ta thick" - meaning "Forest peach blossom". The time when To Day flowers bloom the most and are most beautiful is from mid-December to the end of January every year.
The To Day flower is associated with the lives of many generations of Hmong people in the highlands of Mu Cang Chai, Yen Bai, Vietnam. It is a flower with strong vitality and only blooms in the cold winter. To Day flowers are naturally distributed and grow in abundance in some areas of Mu Cang Chai district such as communes: Nam Khat, Pung Luong, De Xu Phinh, Lao Chai, Khao Mang, along Nam Kim stream and grow most in La Pan Tan. If you once go to the highlands of Mu Cang Chai during the To Day flower season, many tourists will be fascinated by the shimmering colors of To Day and "forget the way home"... 0 reply
