i have some thoughts on this hope was lost in crypto when memecoins became the wave in the face of VCs (even tho it's VCs pumping memes) hope was further lost when it became clear majority of the industry will materially suck up to trump, not just slight support someone other than DNC. crypto is meant to be above politics. coinbase used us to show they can sway the vote where they want. the nail in the coffin was celebs showing how easy it is to move the markets, further proving the crypto relies wholly on attention and it has nothing to do with the technology.

In my opinion you are too pessimistic right now. I didn’t like either the last few months in crypto with all that memecoin shit, but I think it’s only a transition phase, things will fix in the time. Now everything seems to depend on Trump but the reality is that this is only because he is the first president to talk about crypto in public, people will get tired soon and same for the market. If we’re talking about pure speculation then we live in ‘waves’ and this memecoin wave is about to end and we will soon move onto something new. However if we’re talking about the crypto technology, well, it’s something way bigger that this and it’s above speculation, politics and trends. I believed in crypto and the blockchain, we’re just going through a turbulent phase. PS sorry for my poor english, I hope to have made myself understood

yes i am taking the pessimist stance, sometimes it's better to let it out rather than pretend it's all good. last cycle top was like a bandaid, everyone knew it was over between rates raise + euphoria this time felt like we just kept changing sentiment until the top and did so again on the way down i am glad that ppl will push back on this. it gives me hope that ppl are thinking for themselves rather than looking for what a KOL says your english is fine friend, no problems here. thanks for making the effort 🫡
