welcome! Tip: hang out with non tech people. Go to as many off broadway shows and non mainstream museums as humanly possible. get a Citibike membership. Download Foursquare City Guide (seriously). Listen to The Power Broker audio book while roaming about the city.

I mean, I feel like few use it, but the data isn't corrupt like Yelp and Google maps. It's still the best for finding anything food or drink related in NYC imho. Few
