The importance of getting to know your fellow artists & BUIDLing relationships:

Farcaster has been an incredible tool to break through the X algo & utilize channels to meet new people. 

I didn’t know @strano.eth before we met on FC but I made a post in their gifart channel asking about a workflow for saving gifs at the highest quality. Their answer was the workflow I ended up using on 30 pieces for my Waveform project.

In the process I discovered their work & recently acquired their piece “The 99th Floor” via AOTM.

This space is more interconnected than we could ever imagine. You’re only ever one step away from a new fren, new collector, or someone with the answer to a question.

Yesterday I attempted to show the differences in quality after @strano.eth helped me figure out a new export process for the pixel manipulations I’ve been doing…but the gif upload rugged on warpcast. 

Here is the comparison, zoomed in at 700% & 200%.

The new export method retains the colors/saturation & is a much more accurate representation of the original.

Nice one man. Good discovery. Always looking to improve the final outputs. I find dropping the gamma slightly on the working file leads to a punchier output too. Stops that washed out look.
