its a true story. The Mermaid is a wooden sculpture made by an artist that lives on one shore of Lake Epuyén. It was displayed in the museum located on the other side of the great lake. One day the museum caught a big fire, and she disapear; days later, burned, she reemerged from the waters on the shore of her creator.
