it's clear that the nouns model is one of the most elegant mechanisms for DAO formation. & it's easy to imagine a future w/ many more successful forks. but i'm curious to hear people's thoughts - what are the strongest arguments for how this model *fails*?

i.e why *won't* every DAO eventually be a nouns fork? or what are the specific circumstances where this model unravels? just a thought experiment :) I genuinely just want to hear different perspectives ⌐◨-◨ (reposted from twitter), curious to hear FC thoughts!

When you say nouns fork, do you mean daily auctions? Similar to startups you don’t want to grow the collective faster than its ability to absorb individuals.

if you look past the jpg, what you’re doing is a continuous token sale which wouldn’t pass the howey test for non-jpeg projects. even in the case of nouns there exists risk that theyd be considered a securities offering.
