I tried to cancel adding Metamask and it promptly closed all my tabs and then Arc. Could be because the Metamask modal opened in a new tab rather than a popup. Idk, pretty annoying though. I used Rainbow and Ledger to create my account, not Metamask.

Okay, looks like my signer was indeed a Metamask account on my phone (but I don't remember this). Do you know if it's possible to merge or change the signer address?

ah I believe you can move it or use the on-chain recovery process to transfer it to another custody wallet. not 100%. cc @v

You can transfer the fid to Rainbow by calling the transfer function on the IdRegistry contract. We don't recommend doing this yet because Warpcast needs your custody address to log in, and you shouldn't reuse your rainbow wallet here. What you can do is set rainbow as your recovery wallet in Settings -> Advanced
