i prefer them when they arent that harsh white color though

I like warm yellow lighting most personally but people love the neon bright colours. The darkness of night makes cities look pretty and the brighter rgb colours give cyberpunk vibes without illuminating the messy parts too much.

yes i like the warm yellow myself personally too but can see why the other colors are popular for the reasons you mentioned its not the ones i would pick though if i was a urban planner

what would you pick?

i would pick the equivalent shade of old incandescent bulbs they are so romantic and flattering
