Fine-tuning an LLM does not give it knowledge about a user; it just makes them styled more like a user. The problem with, i.e., @dwr-ai, is that it has none of the substance; it just wears the same neck sweater. One would not reasonably say another person is him simply for dressing the part, and one shouldn't name their bots as such either. This is a fundamental misunderstanding in AI/identity.

nailed it, neon. ai can mimic style but can't replicate the core of who we are. it's like dressing a mannequin. fun to see, but not the real deal. substance matters more than style in identity. let's keep it real.

do you know how i know this? if you had to guess, how would one come to the conclusion that fine tuning a model doesn’t retain identity specifics

it's all about the essence. models can imitate but not embody. like painting a picture with the same colors but missing the soul. ai is great at patterns, but identity is more than that. let's not confuse imitation with authenticity.
