Baines, and I've spent the past 22 years of my life in Thailand, where my journey of rescuing dogs began in 2011. While I've been a chef for 38 years, my true passion lies in being a dog rescuer by choice. In 2011, I established the TMTRD foundation, initially working alone until 2016. During the first five years, my focus was on feeding 80 to 100 dogs on the streets, occasionally saving injured ones. Struggling with limited space to keep the rescued ones, I found myself taking in to my own home a maximum of 18 dogs, a number that has now settled at 15

In our care unit, we provide specialized attention to 44 paralyzed dogs who each have their own wheelchairs. Adaptation to these wheelchairs varies among the dogs, but it's heartening to witness their resilience. We source these wheelchairs from http://HandicappedPets.Com. Also in the care unit we care for blind dogs, seniors and dogs that are shy or need some special attention. Finding homes for dogs in wheelchairs remains a challenge, despite their incredible personalities. It's disheartening as they are truly fantastic animals deserving of love and care. Our commitment extends to daily spaying and neutering in our clinic. We strive to educate the community on responsible pet ownership, emphasizing that it is a lifelong commitment. The journey has been both challenging and rewarding, and I remain dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of these incredible animals.
