Anyone with Stripe experience that can point me in the right direction?

I’m trying to create a payment flow that works like this:
1. Customer chooses service
2. Submits credit card info and agrees to be billed in full at completed service 
3. Customer receives service
4. Cust charged

How do I do step 2?

What provider are you using? This is referred to as a payment authorization. Gas stations also do this when you pay at the pump.

Yeah I saw that, but the 7 day statute might get me in some cases. The other way I saw to do it might be the have a deposit of $0 and a second payment authorized by the deposit, but the UX is confusing for that.

Not sure what you mean by provider.

Airtable and Make primarily. I only dabble in the dev side of things. 

This is B2B so I’m not too worried about a hold to prevent declined charges, I just want to make sure we get their info up front but charge on delivery

What services are you using to coordinate this process so we can tailor recs. You're using stripe api?

Tricky with the longer timeframe.
