So one of my friend’s just joined warpcast and he’s been confused. 

Here’s the gist of some quick tips I sent him in a voice note to help him and other newcomers. (in no particular order)

- Be yourself. All 37 people on this app are really nice. 

- It’s a place where you can be completely unhinged and rewarded for it. 

- Posts are called casts. ‘Cast’ can be used as a verb or a noun. 

- There’s some algorithm to determine leaderboard points based on amount of engagement and follower count. 

- We’re all kinda big nerds. It’s been called nerd twitter. 

- Channels can be used to categorize your posts based on topic and get further reach. Find channels of interest to you and follow them. 

- Mini-apps (formerly frames) is a learn as you go experience. You’ll figure it out with time. 

- Be ready to hear about crypto… a lot! 

- It’s not about followers, it’s about engagement. 

- You can network, but don’t try to extract value from people. 

- Just be yourself. Be authentic.
