Do you believe in sitting down and writing your short to long term goals(3/5/10 year or something like that)? How many people actually do this?

I don't write down long-term goals, but short-term ones. Because if I see a long term goal after a long time unfulfilled, that could potentially demotivate me. Short-terms are fairly easy so once you complete and ✅ them, it feels great.
