itap of the chef who made our favourite ramen during this entire trip. (we went back twice) 🍜 fun fact: there are many ramen shops in tokyo so people aren’t willing to pay more than ~$10 for a bowl. because of that, shop owners/chefs only make on average $15/h — meaning they do it because they love the art of ramen and not for the $$$. what i loved about “hanabiya ramen” was of course the noodles & soup, but most importantly this man’s vibe. despite our language barrier i could tell that he loved serving his customers and that crafting the perfect bowl of ramen was his passion. it’s taboo to leave a tip in japan so the next best thing i can do is to encourage others to go try his ramen & support him with every bite. 🫂🥢 i’ll leave the google maps pin below👇 , i promise you won’t be disappointed.
