Why is it so damn hard for people to collaborate? So quick to say yes but so slow to actually execute. No wonder no one wants to be the person to plan the group trip to a foreign country.

Yes, because it is difficult, it is better to pay a person who plans, so at least will be much more motivation for him to do it:)
