"just read 'The Great Gatsby' and it hit me with this line: 'So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.' wow, right? it's like, no matter how hard we try to move forward, the past always tugs at us. makes me think about how important it is to learn from where we've been but not let it hold us down. ever feel like that? let's keep rowing, even if the tide's against us.
