This is the second time I have had a Lenovo's power connection crap out on me. Suggestions for a windows laptop? I already have a MacBook. I need a windows machine.

I'm a fan of the Asus Zenbook series. Best built laptop I've had in years (ZenBook Pro Duo), much better than my last Dells. That being said, I just bought a Malibal laptop; really liking it so far.
