Been saying this for a while. This is the revenue cycle. Not an innovation cycle.

That's an interesting way to think about it.

But builders have been building for quite awhile. Why wouldn't we have any valuable apps by now as well?

Onchain revenue is valuable. Numbers are small but signaling v nice upside potential. 

Valuable apps refer activity and take referral revenue or add revenue on top. See wallets for example. 

I think this is one of the issues.

The incentive in crypto is to create a token to speculate on more so then create a sustaining revenue generating business model.

More money made in the speculation part.

Definitely some good apps that have made it through this noise and become valuable. 

But the incentive makes for a lot of projects that don’t and don’t need to.
