Yesterday, we shared our proposal to Purple DAO to expand Farcaster through the creation of the Frecuencia Común DAO, aimed at bringing the protocol to the Spanish-speaking world. 

Why does this matter?
The majority of Spanish-speaking users on Farcaster are forced to communicate in English because that’s where the community currently is. If we want Farcaster and the base chain community to grow, we need to create spaces where Spanish speakers feel comfortable and welcomed.

This is not just about language—it’s about creating inclusivity and showing the world that Farcaster is a protocol for everyone. Let’s address this challenge and make Farcaster the global, decentralized network it was meant to be.

My FID 10981. We have been speaking English for almost two years, even with Spanish speakers. Only because Farcaster is a network for communicating only in English. Until it is understood that we must conquer the Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Brazilian and Asian community, we will continue to be a small niche with many great projects but little reach.
