ok so I’m seeing that a counter argument is that the money part of crypto is not the leading argument anymore, but it’s the backend tech that will allow for a democratic internet. I’m all for that, but here I am trying to set up a Coinbase wallet and I want to blow my brains out. 

After jumping through every hoop successfully now it says “something went wrong” and to make sure I have the most updated version. I do. Shoot me.

FYI coinbase has been freezing accounts for years. the DEX wallet is different but most new people use only CEXes and don’t realize it’s not their money. even gemini froze my acct i was using just to off-ramp

also easy to scam newbies. it won’t scale til it’s forced on people and that won’t be in a good way
