Does Farcaster need governance? What can governance for a social network look like? @dwr.eth curious about your take on this

In terms of governance, probably community guidelines would be the first subject. In terms of voting though, you can use it to create user feedback, strengthen communities, all that stuff. For that, it all depends how much self-determination you want to enable for the growing community.

Can you expand on community guidelines? Our vision is each client decides it’s on guidelines? Similar to the web or email protocols.

Makes sense. I guess this changes my question to does this particular client need guidelines? For the protocol itself I guess I agree no guidelines is probably the best.
