You don’t have to read the whole book for it to be worthwhile. Read the interesting bits, skim others, put it down if it loses your interest.

I’d go so far as to say this is the better way to read a lot of pop nonfiction. Especially if the book is 200-250 pages. It was probably padded to hit the standard 50-60k minimum word count.
