Have you ever seen a Tasmanian Pademelon?

A small marsupial, this little one’s baby is hiding in the bushes behind her. 

She was abandoned on our property a year or two ago by her mother when she ended up inside our house, and decided we must be safe enough for her to stay within the confines of the land.

Which is a good thing, because they account for 95% of the roadkill here.
