it's crazy to me that some people don't like the "make money" idea

big accounts from twitter love creator revenue sharing
tiktok and ig influencers are monetizing one way or the other
artists making a living from patreon
streamers making a living from subs on twitch

and in the one place where money could flow freely, money shouldn't be the incentive?

the best place to have conversations in crypto 

the "make money" part is downstream of that 

I make more money being on twitter because that's where the majority of crypto conversations happen

don't love the idea because it's not a real differentiating factor

you can make money grinding on twitter too

also being on Farcaster is no guarantee you make money (ask the people who bought MOXIE)

if you do, don't you think they're investing their time where they can get the most out of it?

like if you watch them on youtube for example, why that platform over others?

me too! and I think some creators will see that as an opportunity 

if levelsio isn't on farcaster and it's been proven that people like his type of content maybe a smaller creator can fill that space here, and this is where the "make money" idea should be attractive to them

yeah, but creators go where the money is

every big social media platform attracts low quality users, twitter is full of bots, but I keep finding cool people through the noise and that's why I still use the platform

I think the question is how can farcaster help users make connections like the ones you have

I think the make money thing attracts a type of user that explicitly wants to extract value without necessarily bringing something to the table. None of the people i would consider a friend on here are like that
