Online communities are REAL communities and for MANY  marginalized folks/ disabled ppl and fringe groups and outcasts, online communities have provided space, time and continuums for us to be ourselves..

yea i think this is valid, fundamentally the experience of belonging and having meaningful and vulnerable discourse so we can actually feel connected is what's important. I think it matters less wether irl or url and more how folx are willing to show up and how authentic they feel they can be. 1000 $crash

but it’s not the same
doesn’t fulfill the actual physical need humans have for this thing
