1. Never give the seed phrase or private key from your wallet to anyone. 

2. Do not store the seed phrase in instant messengers or cloud storage; It is better to store the seed phrase on paper in several copies.

3. Do not follow unverified links. Even when searching on Google, you can come across phishing links. Bookmark frequently used apps and use https://defillama.com to navigate to apps. 

4. Use wallets that warn you when you do something wrong. In my opinion, the best choice for EVM wallets is the Rabby wallet.
