Every year, Vietnamese women dress in traditional costumes, take boats and go to the Mekong River to pick water lilies. Why do they pick water lilies?
👉🏻 The answer is simple - flowers are delicious ))))! It turns out that the flowers and stems of these plants have been used in Vietnamese cuisine since ancient times. Lilies are used in salads, starters and even pastries. The stems are pickled and fried with seafood.
       I believe that this is a wonderful tradition, for the continuation of which it is worth preserving the surrounding nature.
