It's a very nice federated alternative to Instagram. The underlying framework is based on mastadon. A friend of mine and me tried to get on pixelfed.art but never got a response so we went to pixelfed.social instead and have to be honest that it's probably a better option to not be in a server that is dedicated to art. Art should be for everyone, with everyone. 🙂

Don't really see anyone selling anything. Have shared links with images to rodeo and pretty sure nobody went to it. TBH think it's nice that it's about sharing then selling.
