Decided to write about... snow - the thing I long for in winters. 
The thing that forces us to slow down, and maybe throws us into a mode of awe, if we let it happen.

It was in part inspired by reading more from Hartmut Rosa (who writes extensively about this topic of the more we control, the less we love/see/ experience) - and some articles on the science of awe.

He's one of our best thinkers id say. Just read his essay on the Uncontrollability of the World recently and been catching up on interviews he did. 

If you can find some in English or subtitled (I assume you're not fluent in German) highly recommend!

The article must be very interesting. My biggest problem is that English is not my native language. Although I can read it, I struggle when it comes to videos. I think this has caused me to miss out on many things.
