There are several thoughts I have in my mind: - by killing the villain our cowboy is becoming one as well 😈 in my scene I see him grabbing Jani, putting her on the horse bent and leaving towards the sunset (continuation could be in the style of "The Taming of the Shrew" or by watching Jani to save herself in order to preserve dignity) - no happy end for anyone, Jani is too devasted after the death of the villain and she will try to revenge him (your idea) - exploring the possibility the villain is not dead, he is resilient and furthermore no important body organ was hit by the bullet, he wakes up in the middle of the night (no vampire stuff for the god's sake! 😆) and saves her at the very end (here we are going against the will of the majority who has voted... 🙊)
