Are kickstarter campaigns still the go to for board game launches? I’m curious if people still browse and gamble on projects or if they wait until they come out and are reviewed. 

I haven’t done a KS backing in about a year because of long lead times, failed launches, and the exclusives weren’t worth it.

I think at this point I’d rather visit my local shop or see what’s trending on BGG. Maybe that’s just the way it goes with age and a large collection where games are already competing with my time
