not just a plethora of chains, but coins as well. Will be hard to keep track of it all. Just like the free mint meta of NFTs, this will just split the overall economy with each iteration

And right now if your pitch is low fees or fast transactions that’s everyone 😂

Fortunately we have some interesting solutions for tracking assets (at least the ones on the most used L2s) but it's a challenge to keep them valuable. For L2s the challenge is even bigger because without users everything on that chain is pretty much worthless and I don't know why nearly no one seems concerned by that. Btw, I'm not talking about liquidity fragmentation... that's not even an issue if no one wants to use the chain.
