my mistake was time spent on "fake work". i spent way too much time building and rebuilding product as a cope to not deal with the fact that no one wanted what i was building... huge, huge waste of time, even if i learned a lot.

wow love this. the lessons we learn the hard way tend to stick the best. you're probably an ace with your time now, or well on your way to be. cool stuff

always room to grow there! but certainly have an appreciation for getting answers quickly. life is short!
